Idiot needs Help on Icons

New postby FragU on Tue Feb 17, 2009 9:42 am

Okay, I admit it... I am easily the dumbest guy I know.

Can someone explain to me the various icons on the podcast screen that show the number uploaded/downloaded? I'm trying to figure out what all the icons w/ numbers mean, and I'm too dumb to get it.

Marcus - Perhaps a quick one pager on the home page for us newbies or those lacking a chromosome or two? Simple arrows to the existing pictures would suffice.

Thanks!

Thanks a ton, Gahoo! I "thought" I looked all over - but I obviously didn't look through that thread.

Again, thanks for your help.

You know, I have been on these forums almost daily for two months, and I don't ever remember seeing those instructions either.
Could we maybe move them, with some of the other instuctions, over to 'General' heading for others to easily find? :)

Sorry, I was out of commission yesterday (Flu) :)

Eventually I'm going to get a user manual put together, but for now I'll move that somewhere a little more helpful. (FAQs, probably).

Thanks for a great product. Just downloaded the trial version and going to use it for a bit to see how i like it but so far i am impressed. Quick question. what are the 2 vertical bars at the top - one is blue and one is green? Also, after i installed it i have 2 icon on my bold - one is named podtrapper and the other is podtrapper play/pause. Can i delete one of them since they both seem to go to the same place? thank you...

Just another user here but the two icons on your homescreen are there for you to play/pause while listening outside of your Podtrapper app.
The other icons inside are a battery indicator and I believe the other is to show how much available space is left on your SD card, BUT somewhere in these forums are more thorough answers.

Hi there,

No worries, with the latest version you don't need it anymore. You can configure the same behavior via the Settings -> Keyboard Settings screen inside PodTrapper, and they'll now work even when the phone is locked!

Let me know if you run into any issues.
