Cursor jumps out of opened category

Before last version, I would open a category, look at its items, and then close it via Escape or Trackball click. Now the cursor jumps to the next category and Escape closes the app. The cursor should remain on the name of the category that I just opened. Then I could close category with either Escape or trackball. Now I must scroll up to close category.

While there's still one oddity left (escape moving to next category), 1.0.17 fixes most of those issues. Want to try it out and let me know?

Beta .17 is a good start. I can open and immediately close a category via the trackball. However, some categories have so many items that I must scroll to view them. Then, no matter whether the cursor is on an item or its category, if I close a category via Escape, the cursor ends up on the following category's name.
