Android 2.2 added to it's API the capability for apps such as PodTrapper to pause playback when other Android operations temporarily output sounds, including navigation voice directions. It is currently extremely frustrating when using navigation and listening to a podcast, as the navigation voice talks over the podcast, and you miss what was said in the podcast. Notification sounds can also pause/unpause the podcast. Also, when voice input is activated, PodTrapper should temporarily pause playback so that the voice has a silenced background. Other podcast players implement this feature. Without this feature I cannot use Podtrapper -- it's just too frustrating when using voice input and navigation.
