New PodTrapper Beta (2.5.7)

New postby marwatk on Sat Dec 05, 2009 4:45 pm

Hi all,

I'm rolling 2.5.7 to the beta site right now. The buffered playback stuff is finished, though it doesn't play nice with all devices, so there's now a setting for it on the Playback settings screen. It attempts to be smart about choosing which to use by default, let me know how it goes on your device. I'm trying to get my hands on a Storm 1 (9530) so I can test some weird bugs on the 5.0 release of that one. If anyone has one they want to sell, let me know.

Another big feature is the ability to filter what types of things download as an episode. You can configure it per-podcast to be any combination of Video, Audio or Other.

Other minor fixes as well, let me know how it goes:

I just installed it. I had the same playback problems. I turned off buffering and. restarted PT and it works. I`ll goof around with it over the weekend.

Only the normal versions. These betas can be tricky and must be downloaded at your own risk.
