New PodTrapper Beta (2.5.1)

New postby marwatk on Mon Oct 05, 2009 9:29 pm

Here's a minor update to the production release that fixes a few issues people have had with it. It's not a complete set of fixes, but I wanted to test a few of them with a user so I'm publishing what I have.

http://ota.versatilemonkey.com/beta/

Grab it if you're having issues with any of the following:
* Fixed focus bug on OS 5.0
* Fixed: Focus convenience keys are not avoiding main conv key action
* Fixed: Deleting doesn't stop playback
* Log most audio path changes
* Fixed: Left convenience key not working when pearl flip closed posting.php?mode=reply&f=3&t=757
* Re-added the "View..." menu items by request
* Downloads must fail over a 3 day period to permanently fail instead of after 5 tries
* Another attempt at getting around duration issues

I just started using the "rewind after unpausing" feature. It works well for regular podcast, but does not work with audiobooks added to playlist thru "file playback". Thanks

Hmm, it should work irrespective of the file type, unless the BB is having trouble seeking that short of period on the file. Anyone else seeing that?

I use this feature everyday and it works perfectly. It even rewinds after a message indicator interrupts my listening.

EDIT: I just realized the word "playlist" was specified. I don't use playlists for audio books, I just play them manually. I don't know if this has any bearing on the issue.

I have the 8900 and this is a bug with podtrapper. Thanks for the commit anyway. :D
