Hi Marcus.

These two video feeds used to work fine in PodTrapper:

http://feeds.cbsnews.com/podcast_eveningnews_video_1 <--- CBS Evening News
http://feeds.cbsnews.com/podcast_nation_video_1 <--- CBS Face The Nation

They stopped working fine when CBS started making the video files about 40-50MB in lieu of 150something MB. The video still plays on the computer, however, in podtrapper it only plays audio.

Any ideas?

I take it we're talking about the BlackBerry version? Can you try the 'Play in BBMP' menu item on one of those files and see what happens?

Hey man.

Yep, the blackberry version.

When I do that it says unrecognized format...... As I said, it was working for me until CBS changed their encoding format apparently to reduce file size.

Hmm, if the built in player is giving you the same thing it's likely the case that they're using a format that BB's can't play. I could only get audio out of my BB, is anyone else able to get video?

Is it possible to modify PodTrapper to play this new and more compressed video format?

Sadly no, the file types are an OS thing, so we're stuck waiting for RIM to make more formats available
