Create a shortcut to a folder on the main screen

I would like to see the ability to create a shortcut to a folder on, say, an SD card. In my case I would like to create a link to my "Audiobooks" Folder. This would help with navigation to different book chapters especially when in the car.

Good news! This should already be in there

You can highlight any folder when browsing via the 'Browse other files...' item, then hit the menu and choose "put link on home screen" (may be labeled differently depending on version). Let me know if that doesn't work for you.
